Our Mission
The mission of RadPhysics is to improve patient safety by reducing errors and creating process improvement in radiation oncology.
Our Company
RadPhysics was established in 1999. Our headquarters office is located in Albuquerque, NM. We also have offices in Philadelphia, PA, Atlanta, GA and Seattle, WA. RadPhysics is the first company to offer a software-based error reduction/compliance program (MERP) intended to reduce preventable systems-related medical errors and violations of regulatory requirements. MERP is designed to facilitate a team approach in process improvement to help minimize mistakes and improve clinical workflow. This approach allows all users, from administrators, radiation oncologists, medical physicists, radiation safety officers, dosimetrists, therapists, billing and clerical staff, to be involved in the plan of action and contribute to the solution. RadPhysics also provides policies and procedures in the technical delivery process involving external beam treatments in radiation oncology. These step-by-step procedures address key areas of operations in quality assurance, radiation safety, and quality management. Our comprehensive solution integrates these two systems, benchmark procedures and error-reduction software, into one closed-loop process. First, benchmark procedures form the basis for providing high quality patient treatments. Second, error reduction process with feedback reduces preventable systems-related medical errors and violations of regulatory requirements.
